Distance Learning at Syracuse University


Graduate Degrees

Many of SU's schools and colleges offer graduate degrees in a distance format. These programs combine short residencies with self-paced study. Short residency requirements vary by program. Prospective students are encouraged to contact an academic advisor regarding the requirements specific to their program of interest.

Online Courses

Online courses that do not lead to a degree are offered every semester. During the academic year, these courses are open to part-time and non-matriculated students; full-time Syracuse students need permission to register. During the summer, online courses are open to any interested student.
