Syracuse University and Upstate NY Ballet Summer Dance Intensive

Housing

Syracuse, in the eastern Finger Lakes Region of New York, is centrally located for travelers from all New York cities. Syracuse University's campus is especially beautiful in the summer, and is easily accessible from Route 81 North and South and the New York State Thruway. It is on a hillside just east of downtown Syracuse.

If you are a residential student, you live in a residence hall with security and safety systems, located near a dining center. A wide variety of nutritious food is available (commuters should bring lunch and snacks as necessary). Adult supervisors are always available to help with your life on campus.

Off-hour activities and field trips are organized and supervised to fill your leisure time. Such activities may include swimming, movies, off-campus trips, and a trip to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center to attend a performance by the New York City Ballet.
